2007 - Ready to Continue Our Steps Forward
All
Golf’s Kids 2007 plans and initiatives include:
1) 5,000
kids (cumulative) projected to attend USGA, PGA, Champions, and LPGA Tour
Events and visit private country clubs - Wykagyl (LPGA Big Apple), Winged
Foot (US Open 2006), Westchester (Barclay's
Classic), Commerce LI Classic, and other events & venues.
2) Renew
& develop program partnerships (e.g. Boys/Girls Clubs, Girl Scouts/Boy
Scouts, Big Bros/Big Sisters, Children’s Aid, Fresh Air Fund, United Way,
high schools, middle schools, SUNY.
3) Volunteers
thru VolunteerMatch (234 volunteer inquiries, over 7,200 site page views,
since 1999).
4) 1-Day
(or more) kids’ golf outing at Doral Arrowood, plus special groups of talented
kids.
5) Possible Higher-Education
Scholarship Program via Scholarship America & perhaps "Chick Evans”-
scholarships, caddie scholarships - and support for Westchester Caddie
Scholarship Fund.
6) Indoor
Golf Simulators: we structured (aided by Keyspan) the installation of a $54,000
Indoor Simulator at SUNY-Farmingdale for under-privileged students,
college students, and faculty.
7) Diversity
Initiatives: we
were instrumental in assisting 2 fund-raising golf outings for Riverdale Country
School’s support of SummerBridge: a tuition-free, year-round enrichment program
for low-income kids from surrounding communities.
8) Mobilization
of support via possible “Golf Club Without Real Estate” (All Golf’s Kids Club)
with free membership for kids, benefits for adults. Cost plus kids’
memberships can be underwritten.
9) Expand
Golf-Based Educational Curriculum (Golf/Math, History, Poetry, Geography,
Physics, and Science) &
Essay Contests
10) New
programs to assist other charities and non-profits in enriching the lives of
"disadvantaged", underserved kids.

- Indoor Golf Simulators-"Skills for Life" Character Development Modules
- Adult guidance, mentoring, & tutoring programs with golf as the "link" between private club member-golfers and less-privileged, "at-promise" students
- 2 Event Outings for Virgil Grissom (MS 226Q) to Bethpage State Park in the Spring 2002; Essay Contests and Golf/Education curriculum provided;
- Possible "Assist, challenge & reward" scholarship programs to be administered by
Scholarship America ... Trustee via separate account
- "The Making of A Golf Pro" Initiative for selected junior-golfers showing exceptional promise

At the Invitation of the PGA Tour ...
All Golf's Kids arranged for 250 under-privileged kids & event chaperones from 17 NYC and Westchester schools community groups to attend the 2002 Buick Classic (PGA Tour Event)
